Overview
We’re proud to partner with a highly respected mechanical construction company in their search for a Director of Information Technology to lead their technology strategy with a strong focus on automation, AI, and digital transformation. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for aligning IT with business goals and driving innovation across the organization.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute a strategic IT roadmap
- Lead adoption of emerging technologies, especially automation and AI
- Oversee infrastructure, cloud systems, cybersecurity, and enterprise data strategy
- Partner with leadership to deliver tech-driven business solutions
- Manage IT budgets, vendors, and a growing team of professionals
- Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience (construction industry preferred)
- Proven success aligning IT strategy with business operations and growth
- Strong expertise in systems architecture, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise support
- Demonstrated experience implementing automation and AI technologies
- Deep understanding of data governance, compliance, and cybersecurity best practices
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
- A strategic thinker with strong business acumen
