Position Summary
This position will teach college‑level Introduction to Computers classes to high school students in the Computer Technologies department. The position is for traditional in‑person classes taught on the A-B Tech Victoria Road or at other high schools within Buncombe or Madison County. Online classes may also be available to teach.
Duties- Teach courses with CIS and CTS prefixes in the Computer Technologies department.
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Web Technology, or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in an information technology, computer science or web technology field of study.
- Two or more years’ experience in a computer‑related field.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Teaching experience in higher education.
$2,294.40 – $2,451.20 per week, depending upon course requirements and faculty credentials.
Start Date & AvailabilityPosition remains open until filled. The first class will begin at the start of the next semester.

Sunni crest Building, 340 Victoria Road, Asheville, NC 28801.
