DevOps Engineer

Immediate need for a talented Dev Ops Engineer. This is a 12+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in United States (onsite).

Pay Range: $50 - $60/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

  Candidates must be willing to work onsite from Day 1
• Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and deployment environments.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git Hub Actions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible.
• Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Administer Linux environments and develop Shell scripts to automate operational tasks.
• Manage source code and branching workflows using Git, Bitbucket, and Git Hub.
• Implement infrastructure and deployment automation to improve reliability and reduce manual effort.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance using Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and production issues and implement corrective solutions.
• Collaborate with development and engineering teams to streamline deployments, improve system reliability, and support continuous delivery.

Key Requirements and Technology

Experience:

• Key skills; AWS, CI/CD (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions), Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), Linux/Shell scripting, Git (Bitbucket/Git Hub), monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus/Grafana), Automation.
