This is a hybrid role based in our Columbus, Ohio office, with days in office each week. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the Columbus office.

The Principal, Actuarial & Analytics Methods & Modernization position serves as an internal center of excellence and consulting resource across the Actuarial & Analytics organization, with a clear mandate to both shape direction and execute. This role is responsible for researching, developing, building, testing, and implementing modern actuarial methods, tools, templates, and governance practices that help teams progress while balancing ongoing production demands.
The position plays a critical role in modernizing actuarial practices, strengthening governance and documentation, and translating new ideas into implemented, scalable solutions. The role operates as a service and delivery function, enabling functional teams while ownership of day‑to‑day production and outcomes remains with those teams. This role requires a combination of actuarial credibility, hands‑on technical capability, and change leadership, with a bias toward execution and tangible impact.
FUNCTIONS
- ACAS/FCAS strongly preferred.
- Deep Property & Casualty actuarial experience required.
