We are a dynamic and client-focused law firm committed to providing exceptional legal services and fostering professional growth.

Position Overview

As an Associate Attorney in our Trusts & Estates Practice, you will work closely with clients to provide customized clear and practical solutions for their estate planning and estate and trust administration needs. Your role will involve advising clients on a wide range of matters, including estate planning, probate law, business succession planning, charitable planning, asset protection, trust & estate administration, and related tax matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet and advise clients on a wide array of estate planning and administration matters.
  • Draft and review estate planning documents.
  • Guide clients through probate and estate administration.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys, paralegal staff, and client advisors on complex legal matters.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and provide tailored legal advice in conjunction with other professionals such as financial advisors and tax professionals.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda.
  • Prepare estate tax returns and fiduciary income tax returns.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in North Carolina.
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independentlyaap
