Senior Sourcing Specialist Networks, Credit & Debit Processing

• Manage complex sourcing activities, including statements of work, work authorizations, change orders, renewals, amendments, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and Master Agreements
• Coordinate with the Risk team to ensure compliance with banking regulations
• Manage all aspects of and drive requests through the Truist procure-to-pay process
• Coordinate with Truist stakeholders, contract management, Legal, and other subject matter experts on supplier contractual provisions
• Negotiate contract spend, goods and services, agreement terms, and business budgetary needs
• Achieve cost avoidance or cost reduction during negotiations and optimize enterprise spend with suppliers
• Ensure contract terms and conditions align with business needs and parent agreements
• Develop relationships with business partners, suppliers, Contract Managers, Legal, Category Directors/Managers, and Procurement Operations
• Follow department procedures, including managing expectations and dates, providing weekly status updates, and assigning Legal/Contract Managers
• Review contract requests for potential Purchase Order procurement methods
• Ensure requests meet Purchase Order requirements and obtain manager approval
• Serve as a resource for the business on the Purchase Requisition process
• Coordinate project kickoffs and Third Party Risk Assessment calls with appropriate subject matter experts
• Verify risk ratings are correct in the system of record before contract signature
• Mentor and assist with training more junior teammates
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business field of study or 4-6+ years of experience in organizational Sourcing/Procurement or equivalent experience
• Expert in procurement and supply chain management
• Skilled with contractual structure and identifying legal and business issues and risks
• Ability to interact tactfully with numerous stakeholders
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet competing deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
• Strong relationship management skills
• Ability to quickly gain trust and confidence of senior leaders within Truist
• English language fluency required
• Experience with SAP-Ariba or similar procurement software preferred
• Experience with Archer or similar risk software preferred
• Specific knowledge of Banking Services, General & Admin, Human Resources, Professional Services, Real Estate, Data, IT and Telecom, or Sales and Marketing preferred
• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) preferred
• Previous experience in financial services industry preferred
