Material Handler Plant B Shift

NC Plant 1, 180 Commerce Place, Asheboro, NC 27203, USA

Responsible for unloading, moving, and storing a variety of materials, parts, and products. Fills orders from storage areas, warehouse stock, and delivers to designated departments.

• Ensures that raw material needed for production is ready and available at all times.
• Assists in the change over process.
• Responsible for unloading, cleaning, and reloading of material hoppers.
• Responsible for transporting material to and from production area and warehouse.
• Ensures that grinders, color feeders, and other related equipment are cleaned.
• Maintains appropriate documentation relating to the material system.
• Performs daily color checks and documents in color LDR book.
• Cleans and maintains loader system vacuum pumps, filters and mixer rooms.
• Documents PMs to equipment in Maximo.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Responsible for identifying and weighing raw materials.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
• Maintains 100% classroom training as required.

Must be able to read and speak English proficiently. General knowledge in injection molding. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer experience. Valid TM assigned forklift license required. Must have been in a Back Up Material Handler position for a minimum of 3 months.
