As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in line with departmental requirements and state standards. You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team, advocate for patients and families, and embody Mission Health’s vision, mission and values to ensure outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.
What you will do in this role- Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and take appropriate action if unintended responses occur.
- Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate needs proactively, and resolve them.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow‑up measures, ensuring complete understanding.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse license.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field.
