Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for the Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit with recent specialty experience and required certifications in North Carolina.

• Position is located in a hospital-based Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit (CVPC)
• Day shift schedule working 6:45AM to 7:15PM
• 13-week assignment term
• Care is provided to a cardiac and progressive care patient population
• Floating may be required according to hospital policy
• Duties include monitoring and caring for cardiac and progressive care patients
• 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible
• Complete documentation including skills checklist and license verification required for consideration
• No first-time travelers are specified as accepted or declined

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in tele or progressive care nursing required
• Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required, with no expiration within first 30 days of assignment
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• Must provide US SSN and DOB for consideration, Canadian SSNs are not accepted
• Must submit the required number of professional references: two for Florida and Missouri, one for all other states
• No work history gap of 90 days or more within the last 12 months
