Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PCU

• Work on a 20-bed progressive care unit (D2) handling mixed level of care patients including medical surgical and step-down patients
• Patient ratios of 1:5 or 1:6 stretch depending on level of care
• Work with short stay patients (less than 24 hour length of stay) with quick turnover
• Required to float to other units as needed
• Every other weekend required, no call responsibilities
• Must have telemetry competency and progressive care experience
• Recent progressive care experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Work with telemetry equipment with all patients hardwired to bedside monitors
• Use Cerner EMR system
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, and 2 CNAs
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, and 2 CNAs
• Dress code requires navy and/or white top with navy bottom or all white scrubs
• Must demonstrate positive attitude, patient experience focus, kindness, compassion, and strong teamwork skills
