Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced oncology RN for a night shift travel position on a 24-bed Oncology/Women's Surgical unit, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an active ONC certification. Responsibilities Position is located on the 9th floor Oncology/Women's Surgical unit (K9A) of an 815-bed acute care hospital in Asheville, NC 24-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:4 or 1:5 Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM Oncology and women's surgical patient population Procedures performed on unit include occasional pelvic exams, echocardiograms, and thoracentesis Standard unit equipment in use;

EMR is Cerner Staff are required to work 6 weekend days per schedule On-call is rare Floating to other med/surg units is possible, though the team rarely floats 13-week contract Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted Chemo certification is preferred and will be prioritized during candidate review The ideal candidate is a team player with a willingness to learn RN dress code: navy, white, or a combination of both colors This is a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center serving as the region's referral hub The facility has earned Magnet® Designation and has been recognized among America's 50 Best Hospitals by Health grades Requirements Active NC or compact RN license required Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted;
