Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit.
The unit primarily cares for patients following cardiovascular and vascular surgeries.
This includes open heart surgery, thoracic surgeries, and various vascular procedures.
Patient diagnoses may include heart failure, sepsis, and chest pain.
The unit consists of 40 cardiac surgery stepdown beds and a staff of approximately 100.
Patient-to-nurse ratios are typically 1:5.
Candidates should have experience in stepdown and telemetry nursing.
Those with prior experience in cardiovascular surgeries will be prioritized.
Candidates must be team players who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility in scheduling is required, including weekend shifts.
No on-call responsibilities are expected.
Ideal candidates will enjoy engaging with patients and collaborating with a dynamic team.
