Description:

This position is for an ICU Nurse in a critical care environment.
The unit consists of 12 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2.
Staffing includes unit secretaries and technicians.
Baxter pumps are the primary equipment used on the unit.
The documentation system utilized is Cerner.
Nurses will have self-scheduling options based on unit needs.
Six weekend shifts are required per scheduling period.
Travelers will float first to other ICU units or step-down units.
Candidates with neurology experience in ICU settings are preferred.
Critical care certifications, including NIHSS and ACLS, are required.
Nurses will perform advanced procedures, including CRRT, bedside EVDs, and A-line monitoring.
Navy blue scrubs are the required uniform.
Unit-specific policies and guidelines are provided to all staff.
Any awards or recognition that reflect outstanding departmental performance can be shared with the candidates.
