Schedule:

Day or Night shift available; 12-hour shifts;
Every other weekend required
Highlights:
36-bed Neurosciences unit within a leading acute care facility
Patient ratios: 5:1 to 6:1 day shift; 6:1 to 7:1 night shift
Cerner EMR system in use
Comprehensive orientation with reference materials provided at start
Collaborative team environment with charge nurse, RN, CNA, and unit coordinator support
Standard medical-surgical equipment and procedures including IV starts and Foley insertions
Requirements:
Active RN license (North Carolina or compact state)
Current ACLS certification (required)
Current NIH Stroke Scale certification (required)
Neurosciences or neurology nursing experience strongly preferred
Willingness to float to other medical-surgical units as needed
Navy blue scrubs required
