Job Description:

The RN in the Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CV PCU) will care for patients with CV surgery and vascular surgery needs, including procedures like open heart surgery and thoracic lung surgery. The role involves managing patients in a 40-bed cardiac surgery stepdown unit.
Responsibilities:
Epidural management
Chest tube management
Tube feedings
IV gluccomander use
Cardiac gtt management including drugs like phenylephrine, dobutamine, and amiodarone
Requirements:
Stepdown experience
Telemetry experience
ACLS and BLS certifications
