Job Description:

The RN in the Surgical ICU will provide care for Neurology post thrombectomy and TPA patients, as well as post Neurosurgery patients. The role involves critical care in a 12-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:2.

Experience with CRRT, bedside EVDs, and A-line monitoring is required.
Responsibilities:
Provide advanced care for neurology and post-surgery patients
Self-schedule according to unit needs, including 6 weekend shifts per period
Float as needed to other ICUs or step-down units
Requirements:
Current ACLS and BLS certification
ICU experience

Experience with Baxter pumps and Cerner documentation systems
Preferred background in neurology ICU care
