Roles & Responsibilities   Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to orthopedic surgery patients
Assess and monitor patient condition, documenting changes and communicating with the care team
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Assist with pre- and post-operative care and coordinate with surgical teams
Educate patients and families on recovery plans, mobility, and wound care
Participate in discharge planning and transitions of care to ensure smooth handoffs
Maintain accurate, timely electronic charting and follow unit protocols
Contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered environment that prioritizes safety
Qualifications   Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (able to practice in North Carolina)
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (orthopedic surgery experience preferred)
Comfort working in a fast-paced surgical/orthopedic environment
Reliable, professional, and team-oriented with strong communication skills
Knowledge & Skills   Orthopedic postoperative care and pain management
Wound assessment and dressing care
Patient assessment and clinical documentation
IV therapy and medication administration
Collaborative teamwork and clear communication with interdisciplinary teams
Time management and prioritization in a surgical setting
