Schedule:

12-hour shifts, every other weekend, holiday support required
Highlights:
10-bed ICU/PCU overflow unit with 2:1 ICU and 4-5:1 PCU ratios
Advanced critical care environment utilizing Cerner documentation system
Charge nurse out of staffing for leadership support
Exposure to complex cases requiring hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and critical care pharmacology
Opportunity to assist with bedside procedures including chest tube insertion and intubations
Floating required to support hospital-wide patient care needs
Requirements:
Active RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Medical ICU experience in a large facility setting
Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
Advanced skills in critical care pharmacology including IV sedation, paralytics, and vasopressors
Central line management experience
Strong critical thinking skills with flexibility and collaborative teamwork abilities
