RN-Registered Nurse – Orthopedic Surgery. Weekly stipend: $1,400. Hourly rate: $20.50. Base pay: $738 weekly. Onsite contract starting 8/24/2026 for 13 weeks.

Day shift, 12 hours/day, 3 days per week.

Mission Hospital – Memorial Campus, 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801.

• Location & Building: A 4 West, 4th Floor Elevator A, Building:
  Mission Main Entrance #4
• Number of Beds: 34
• Staffing (Day): 1 Charge, 6–7 RNs, 3 CNAs, 1 HUC
• Staffing (Night): 1 Charge, 5–7 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1 HUC
• Patient Ratios – Day: 1:4‑6;
  Night: 1:5‑7
• EMR:
  Cerner

• IV fluids
• Tube feeds
• PEG feedings
• IV antibiotics

• Telemetry rhythm capabilities
• Critical thinking
• Time management
• Assessment of med‑surg level patients and timely alert of Charge RN/Manager/Rapid Response/Provider when acuity changes
• Good communication skills
• Punctuality (on time for scheduled shifts)

• ACLS certification

• BLS

• Other med‑surg units and occasionally the holding pod of ED

• Scrub color/attire:
  Navy Blue

• Follow HCA policies
• Attend huddles at 06:50 AM or 18:50 PM shift
• Clock in/out for meal breaks
• Clock in no earlier than 06:38 AM or 18:38 PM depending on shift

• Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per pay period
