Salary: $35.65 per contact hour
Job SummaryInstruct Nurse Aide students in bedside nursing through engaging classroom curriculum, skills labs, and clinical settings. Ensure all training meets North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation guidelines.
Duties- Instruct students in didactic, skills lab, and clinical settings.
- Ensure training and skill activities comply with NC regulatory guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with a diverse student population.
- BSN, ADN, RN diploma, or higher nursing degree.
- Minimum two years of direct patient care as RN.
- Active, current, unencumbered North Carolina Registered Nurse license.
- Willingness to obtain current American Heart Association Instructor Certification in Adult CPR.
- Experience in long‑term care facility or chronic care.
- Familiarity with local health care facilities.
- Experience teaching adult learners.
Hiring is contingent on DHHS Faculty approval for Nurse Aide programs in North Carolina. Candidate must provide unofficial transcripts for the related degree(s) listed under Minimum Requirements. Official sealed transcripts or evaluation from a NACES‑recognized organization must be received at least two business weeks before the first day of work.
