Registered Nurse - Neurosciences Unit
Location:
Asheville, NC
Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
Shift: 06:45 AM - 07:15 AM, every other weekend.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Neurosciences Unit. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and provide exceptional nursing care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care with attention to safety and adherence to protocols.
- Perform routine medical procedures such as Foley insertion and IV starts.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Monitor patient vitals and report any changes to the charge nurse.
- Engage with patients and their families, providing education and support.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- ACLS and NIH certifications are required.
- Preferred:
Previous neuro experience.
