Job Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room/Surgery unit is responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. The role requires broad surgical knowledge and experience in service lines, including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to surgical patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
- Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Requirements:
- Surgical nursing experience in various service lines such as general, GYN, and robotics.
- Ability to adapt to a variable schedule and take on-call duties as required.
