Job Description
RN-Registered Nurse // Telemetry Onsite Contract, starts 8/10/2026 for 13 weeks.
Night Shift – 12 hours/day, 3 days/week.
Required Experience: Peritoneal dialysis experience.
Location: A4E, 509 Biltmore Ave., Asheville, NC 28801, 4th floor, Mission Main Campus.
Unit Details: 18-bed renal medicine unit. Staffing:
Day shift – 1 Charge RN, 4 floor nurses, 1 HUC, 1 CNA;
Night shift – 1 Charge RN, 4 floor nurses, 1 HUC/CNA.
Patient Ratios: RNs 1:4‑1:6, CNAs 1:9‑1:18.
Equipment: Mobilization and lift equipment, cyclers for peritoneal dialysis, scales.
EMR System: Cerner.
Responsibilities: Perform peritoneal dialysis procedures and maintain patient care during night shift.
Qualifications: RN licensure (or CAN in training). Preferred: BSN, Certified peritoneal dialysis nurse, Cerner experience.
Required
Certifications:
BLS, RN licensure, PCT certificate.
Personality Fit: Flexible, comfortable with change, compassionate, timely.
Floating: Ability to float to similar units or serve as sitter as needed.
Dress Code: Scrubs – RN: navy blue; CNA: galaxy blue.
Unit Policies: Follow hospital policies and procedures.
Schedule: Weekends/hollidays rotate.
