A Nurse Extern supports the nursing team by providing essential patient care, assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, performing basic procedures, and ensuring patient comfort and hygiene. They document care, communicate updates, educate patients and families, and maintain a safe, organized environment while engaging in learning opportunities to develop their nursing skills.

Qualifications- Current enrollment in an accredited nursing program, certification as a CNA, and BLS certification within 30 days of employment are required.
- Assisting with patient care tasks, supporting mobility, wound and catheter care, specimen collection, documentation, patient education, infection prevention, and collaborating with supervisors to build personal career development.
