Role OverviewSupports nursing care related to IV therapy and enteral nutrition, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs.
Performs placement of enteral feeding tubes using electronic systems, prepares patients for procedures, and provides education on vascular access and nutrition.
Cross-trains to insert midline catheters, PICCs, and troubleshoot feeding tubes, ensuring high-quality vascular access services for diverse populations.
Qualifications & SkillsRequires an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, current RN licensure, and BLS certification; BSN preferred.
Experience in vascular access, central line care, PICC insertion, and troubleshooting is essential.
Preferred certifications include VA-BC or CRNI within two years of hire.
Strong technical skills in ultrasound-guided procedures, patient assessment, and outcome measurement are desired.
