Registered Nurse
- Step Down/Med Surg Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.
6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Step Down/Med Surg unit. This unit features a total of 39 beds, including 23 step-down and 16 medical-surgical beds, and provides care for stable vented patients, tracheostomy care, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for step-down and medical-surgical patients.
- Perform trach care, manage chest tubes, and execute wound dressing changes.
- Utilize certification in ACLS and BLS in daily practice.
- Monitor patient condition and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- 2 years of nursing experience.
- Experience working with tracheostomy patients.
- ACLS and BLS certification required.
- Preferred:
Previous experience with Cerner EMR.
