Labor And Delivery Specialist

Provide specialized maternal fetal care to patients in the labor and delivery unit. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective obstetric management during labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess obstetric patients' conditions and monitor labor progress.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum procedures.
• Document patient care accurately and update medical records.
• Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies and facilitate safe deliveries.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of labor and delivery experience.
• Strong knowledge of obstetric, neonatal, and maternal care standards.
• Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
• Certification in BLS and NRP preferred.
• Flexibility to work evening and overnight shifts.
