Registered Nurse - IMC​/PCU​/Stepdown

Imc/Pcu/Stepdown Registered Nurse

Provides specialized nursing care to patients in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units, focusing on monitoring and managing patients with complex medical conditions requiring close observation.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient condition and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs, ECGs, and other critical patient data regularly.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status and escalate concerns as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Demonstrate proficiency with telemetry, cardiac monitoring, and critical care protocols.
• Hold current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
