Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit

Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
Job Description:
Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit. This unit specializes in caring for patients undergoing cardiovascular and vascular surgeries, including open heart and thoracic procedures. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor patients recovering from cardiovascular and vascular surgeries.
- Administer medications and manage intravenous drips, including cardiac gtts.
- Perform chest tube and epidural management.
- Assist with tube feedings and patient assessments.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Must have stepdown and telemetry experience.
- Prior experience in cardiovascular surgery and vascular surgery patient care is preferred.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
