American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology RN for a Med/Surg unit requiring 2+ years of specialty experience and ONC certification.

• Work on a 24-bed Oncology/Women's Surgical unit
• Day and night shift teams typically include a CNC, 4-6 RNs, and 2 CNAs, with a HUC on days
• Patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5
• Standard unit equipment used, including support for procedures such as pelvic exams, echocardiograms, and thoracentesis
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Scheduled shifts run 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Rare on-call requirements
• Staff required to work 6 weekend days per schedule
• Floating may occur to other med-surg units, though rare

• Active RN license (NC or Compact)
• Current BLS certification required
• Oncology Certified Nurse (ONC) certification required
• Chemotherapy certification preferred
• 2+ years of recent Oncology nursing experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Provide direct patient care on a busy oncology and women's surgical unit
• Team environment that values collaboration and willingness to learn
• Dress code requires navy, white, or a combination of both colors for RNs
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
