Registered Nurse Telemetry

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. Deliver comprehensive assessments, monitor patient vital signs, and administer treatments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans for telemetry patients.
• Continuously monitor patient vitals and electronic telemetry data to detect critical changes.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Document patient progress, interventions, and responses accurately in electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and their families on condition management and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in telemetry or cardiology.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
