Travel RN – Maternal Fetal Medicine Unit

Asheville, North Carolina

Contract | Travel | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | 13-Week Assignment

• Provide direct patient care on a 10-bed Maternal Fetal Medicine unit with a 1:3–4 patient ratio
• Assist with and support vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-hysterectomy procedures
• Utilize electronic fetal monitoring equipment and operate Baxter infusion pumps
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR and Feta Link
• Provide immediate newborn care as needed
• Float to Labor & Delivery, Mother-Baby, and NICU units as required

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
• High-risk obstetric experience
• Competency in immediate newborn care
• Current NRP certification
• Current BLS/ALS certification
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification

• Circulating experience in an obstetric or surgical setting
• Outgoing, friendly, and adaptable personality well-suited to a fast-paced maternal care environment

• Scrubs are provided, reducing out-of-pocket costs for travelers
• Weekend and on-call requirements are not mandatory, offering a more predictable schedule
