This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week. On-call every 5th weekend from Saturday 7 AM to Monday 7 AM.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team. You will play a critical role in the care of patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional heart procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one patient care in a high-paced environment.
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-care instructions.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active RN license in the state of North Carolina.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab preferred.
- RCIS or ARRT certification for Tech positions is a plus.
