Cath Lab Recovery RN
Location:
Asheville, NC
Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Job Description:
The Cath Lab Recovery RN is responsible for the preparation and recovery of all Cath Lab and EP Lab patients. The nurse will work with a variety of cardiac diagnoses, emphasizing care for vascular patients and those requiring moderate sedation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepping and recovering patients from Cath Lab and EP Lab.
- Monitoring patients post-procedure to ensure safety and comfort.
- Administering medications and IV therapy as needed.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active RN license in the state of North Carolina.
- ACLS and PALS certifications required.
- Experience in ICU or ED; preferred experience in interventional radiology (IR) and moderate sedation.
- Prior experience with cardiac patients and related procedures preferred.
