Per Diem ICU Nurse

Position:
Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU or Telemetry Role & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, safe patient care in an acute-care hospital setting
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatments
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and operate specialized equipment as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and adhere to hospital policies
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and adherence to safety and infection control standards

• Active Virginia Registered Nurse license
• At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
• Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months)
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills

• Flexible scheduling with options for day or night shifts
• Per diem pay rates with daily and weekly pay options
• Ability to work as little as one shift per month
