Oncology Registered Nurse

Role Overview:
As a Registered Nurse Oncology, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with medical teams to assess, perform procedures, administer medications, and document care. You will educate patients, families, and caregivers, advocating for their needs and ensuring positive clinical outcomes.

• Assess patient conditions during admissions and shifts, reporting changes promptly.
• Perform procedures, monitor responses, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Administer medications and respond to therapeutic responses or adverse effects.
• Respond to patient requests, anticipate needs, and resolve issues promptly.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.

• Minimum of one year RN experience.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Current RN licensure, with BLS and Chemotherapy certification.
• Preferred:
  National certification in specialty area.
