Job Summary And QualificationsAs a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Neonatal ICU (NICU) unit, you will provide leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. You will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
- You will oversee the delivery of patient care for a group of patients and direct patient are based on patient acuity and staff availability.
- You will provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes and adjust nursing care processes indicated to adhere to legal, ethical and competency level of staff.
- You will collaborate and consult with patients, colleagues and interdisciplinary team members to achieve desired outcomes.
- You will provide education for self, staff, colleagues, patients and/or families.

Education:
Associates Degree of Science in Nursing - Preferred Education:
Bachelors Degree - Required License/
Certifications:
Must have and maintain current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON - Required Experience:
Must have one year of nursing experience - Certificate: BLS Healthcare Provider
- NRP must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Preferred License/
Certifications:
National Certification in area of specialty
