Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

• Travel assignment with flexible start dates
• Rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends

Qualifications &

Preferred Experience:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of one year recent Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality care for patients with complex or acute conditions transitioning from ICU to lower-acuity settings
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and collaborate in multidisciplinary care teams
• Provide patient and family education regarding care plans and transition processes
• Document assessments and patient progress accurately and timely

$1,706 - $1,866/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
