Job Summary:
Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. Reporting and accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting.
Job Responsibilities
:
- Identify and meet personal learning needs; attend relevant education programs.
- Use patient education materials and assess readiness to learn.
- Identify patient outcomes and revise care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with team to evaluate care and ensure continuity.
- Provide safe, competent care for patients with complex needs.
Required
Skills & Experience:
- One (1) year RN Med-Surg/ Acute Care experience REQUIRED.
- Required Education
- Nursing Diploma.
OR - ADN or ASN from an accredited school of Nursing.
Preferred Education:
- BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
- BLS (AHA or ARC)
RN Shift Differentials:
- Evening (commences at 3:00pm and ends at 11:00pm): $3.30/hr
- Night (commences at 11:00 pm and ends the following day at 7:30am): $6.00/hr
- Weekend (commences at 7:00am on Saturday and ends on Monday at 7:30am): $10.00/hr
- Holiday (commences at 7:00am on the day of the holiday and ends at 7:30am the following day): 50% of base rate added to base rate of pay
- Specialty Differential (OR, ER, ICU) - $2.00
