Join an orthopedic nursing team in Asheville, North Carolina, as a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) providing acute and surgical patient care.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800–$1,890
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• End Date: January 18, 2027
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, approximately 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.
• Work Setting: On-site orthopedic and surgical care environment

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license and eligibility to practice in North Carolina
• At least 1 year of recent registered nursing experience, preferably in orthopedic nursing, surgical nursing, or acute care
• Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and patient-care coordination skills
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate care before and after orthopedic procedures
• Current certifications and documentation required for travel assignment placement
• Adaptability, professionalism, and effective communication in a fast-paced healthcare environment

• Assess, monitor, and document the condition and progress of orthopedic patients
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Provide preoperative and postoperative nursing care for orthopedic procedures
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols
• Monitor patients for changes in condition, complications, pain, and mobility concerns
• Educate patients and families about recovery, safety, mobility, and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with surgeons, rehabilitation professionals, and other interdisciplinary care team members
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation while adhering to patient safety and quality standards
