Oncology | Registered Nurse | 13-Week Travel RN Contract – Asheville, NC Travel Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) – 13-Week Assignment in Asheville, North Carolina

Join our healthcare team as a Travel Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) and provide compassionate, evidence-based care during a 13-week nursing assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. You will care for oncology patients in an on-site hospital setting while collaborating with an experienced multidisciplinary team. Located in the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains, Asheville offers a vibrant community, renowned arts and culture, and abundant opportunities for outdoor adventure.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800–$1,890
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks, ending January 18, 2027
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.
• Work Setting: On-site hospital
• Openings: 1

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of professional nursing experience; oncology nursing experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of patient assessment, medication administration, and clinical documentation
• Ability to recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in an on-site hospital environment
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult oncology patients throughout the treatment continuum
• Assess patient conditions, monitor for changes, and promptly communicate concerns to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to provider orders and facility protocols
• Monitor patients for treatment-related side effects and other potential complications
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and symptom management
• Collaborate with providers and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate individualized oncology care
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation while following patient safety and infection prevention standards
