Join a collaborative emergency care team as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) on a 13-week travel nursing contract in Asheville, North Carolina. Provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced Emergency Department while enjoying the natural beauty, vibrant arts scene, and welcoming community of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,860–$1,960
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks, ending January 18, 2027
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Work Setting: On-site Emergency Department

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or a qualifying compact-state license
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department or emergency nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong patient assessment, triage, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced emergency care environment
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills

• Assess, triage, and provide skilled nursing care to patients with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and respond promptly to clinical needs
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized plans of care
• Perform emergency nursing interventions while maintaining patient safety, comfort, and dignity
• Document assessments, interventions, responses to care, and patient outcomes in accordance with professional standards
• Provide education, emotional support, and discharge guidance to patients and their families throughout the emergency care experience
