Travel RN – Labor & Delivery

Asheville, NC | Acute Care

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM

• Provide direct patient care on a 16-bed Labor & Delivery unit with patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:2
• Assist with and support vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-Hyst procedures
• Perform immediate newborn care and manage high-risk obstetric patients
• Operate Baxter Pumps and Phillips electronic fetal monitoring equipment; document in Cerner and Fetal Ink EMR
• Maintain required certifications including NRP, BLS/ALS, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring
• Float to MFMU, MOMB, and NICU as needed

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• High-risk obstetric experience required
• Immediate newborn care experience required
• NRP certification required
• BLS/ALS certification required
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required

• Circulating experience in the OR/surgical setting
• Outgoing, friendly, and adaptable personality well-suited to a fast-paced L&D environment

• Join a high-acuity Labor & Delivery unit at a regionally recognized acute care facility that includes a Level III NICU and comprehensive women's services
• Scrubs are provided, and weekend and on-call obligations are not required, though may be available upon approval
