Travel RN – Maternal Fetal Medicine / Labor & Delivery

Asheville, NC | Acute Care

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Onsite | Projected Start:
August 24, 2026

• Provide direct patient care on a high-risk antepartum unit with a 1:3–4 patient ratio
• Assist with and support procedures including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-Hyst
• Perform immediate newborn care following delivery
• Utilize electronic fetal monitoring equipment (Philips) and Baxter pumps; document in Cerner and Feta Link EMR systems
• May float to L&D, Mother-Baby (MOMB), and NICU as needed
• Collaborate with charge nursing staff and interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• High-risk obstetric experience required
• Immediate newborn care experience required
• NRP certification required
• BLS and ALS certifications required
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required

• Circulating experience in an OR/surgical obstetric setting
• Outgoing, friendly, and adaptable personality well-suited to a collaborative unit culture
