** Self-scheduling with unit needs; 6 weekend shifts per scheduling period; 1:2 patient ratio
** Highlights:** - 12-bed Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit specializing in neurology and neurosurgical critical care
- Advanced neurology cases including post-thrombectomy, TPA administration, and post-neurosurgery patients
- Critical procedures performed include CRRT, bedside EVD management, and arterial line monitoring
- Cerner electronic medical record system with Baxter IV pump technology
- Opportunities for professional growth in advanced neuroscience nursing
- May float to other ICU settings or step-down units based on facility needs
** Requirements:** - Active RN license eligible for practice in North Carolina
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications- NIHSS certification required- ICU nursing experience required
- Advanced skills in neurology critical care strongly preferred, including experience with thrombectomy patients, TPA protocols, and neurosurgical post-operative care
