Position Overview

• Part‑time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER

  Part time; days may vary 3:00 pm–11:00 pm, rotating weekends (details upon interview)
• Experience:
  
  6 months–1 year of prior cashier experience in the food service industry preferred
• Pay: $18.50–$19.50 per hour

Operates the Point of Sale system, assists the chef, prepares coffee, and maintains the cleanliness of the coffee and cashier stations.

• Help prepare food such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts, and assist with catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system.
• Perform general cleaning duties; remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Provide service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Cashiers according to established procedures, maintaining cash accuracy with receipts; make deposits at the end of each shift.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food products.
• Set up serving line, ensuring temperatures are taken, recorded, and within acceptable ranges; notify cooks if temperatures are not acceptable.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Set up items for purchase on a daily basis.
• Keep refrigerator stocked and rotate products using the first‑in, first‑out rule.
• Stock pantries with correct par levels of food items daily; record replenished amounts on floor stock forms for each unit and record refrigerator temperatures daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
