Wine Bar Dishwasher - Reserve

The starting pay range for this position begins at $17/hour and is based on the level of qualifications and relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

A flexible, on‑call position scheduled based on business needs and operational volume. Reserve employees typically work anywhere from 40-999 hours per year, depending on demand.

The Wine Bar dishwasher will be primarily responsible for washing and storing all dishes, glasses, flatware, pots, pans, and other cooking utensils, and will maintain all aspects of kitchen sanitation. The success of this position will be measured by guest satisfaction, cleanliness, organization, product quality, consistency, and timeliness of service. Assembly and healthy maintenance of all food products will be required, while keeping in line with Serv Safe Standards.

This position will also provide general assistance and support for the leadership, department, and company.

• Conduct oneself in accordance with the goals, culture, service standards, and fundamental values of Biltmore.
• Consistently keep the Wine Bar stocked with clean glasses and clear of dirty glasses.
• Wash and store all dishes, glassware, and silverware properly.
• Assist in the assembly and preparation of Wine Bar food offerings.
• Assist in daily cleaning of all food and beverage areas as instructed, including walls, lights, equipment, etc.
• Assist others in receiving and storing items.li>
• Break down cardboard when necessary.
• Ensure the work area is clean at all times.
• Maintain a clean working environment, where sanitation, health, and safety standards are never compromised.
• Maintain Serv Safe Standards.
• Participate in the department recycling program.
• Clean sink, dishwasher, and kitchen area after every shift.
• Empty all garbage and clean cans at the end of each shift.
• Sweep and mop floors daily.
• Help maintain the dish‑washing machine.

• Provide general support and assistance to the department, leadership, and company as required.
• Adheres to Coyle Shopper Standards.
• Assist with food preparation.

• High school diploma.
• Basic math, knife handling, and food preparation skills.
• Knowledge of food sanitation procedures:
  Serv Safe certification preferred, or able to be obtained within the first year of employment.

• Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent bending, lifting, and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Requires walking or standing to a significant degree; will be standing the entire shift, mainly in the dish area.
• Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
• The employee may work in a restaurant or kitchen environment with fluctuations in temperature and conditions.
• Will enter and exit coolers/freezers throughout the work shift.
• Will be exposed to chemicals during the work shift, such as cleaning liquids, dish detergent, and others.
• Must be able to work in a fast‑paced & loud environment.
