The Role

Telum is seeking experienced HUMINT Analysts to support USSOCOM in planning and executing sensitive HUMINT and intelligence missions. You’ll provide specialized, non-personal services to USSOCOM staff across the full HUMINT lifecycle—collection planning, data gathering, analysis, coordination, reporting, and adaptive planning to identify knowledge or training gaps. You will help integrate, synchronize, and prioritize HUMINT operations and activities in accordance with DoD guidance, while staying laser-focused on operational outcomes.

This position requires deep subject-matter expertise to develop prudent courses of action for emergent HUMINT issues, set priorities, apply technical knowledge to strengthen long-term HUMINT operations, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and directives.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and advise on HUMINT planning and execution, to include collection management, targeting, and analytical production.

  • Conduct multi-discipline analysis (e.g., Human Factors, Human Terrain, Social Network, Patterns of Life) to drive mission success.

  • Coordinate across USSOCOM elements to integrate HUMINT missions, operations, activities, and actions.

  • Produce clear, actionable assessments and reports that inform decision-makers.

  • Identify shortfalls in knowledge, capabilities, or training and recommend solutions and COAs.

  • Ensure all HUMINT activities comply with governing laws, policies, and guidance.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years conducting HUMINT-related operations within an Intelligence Task Force, NIST/NMJIC/Combatant Command environment, or non-DoD equivalent IA operational unit.

  • 5+ years in collection management and all-source analysis.

  • 2+ years in a managerial role supporting HUMINT programs and analysis.

  • Advanced proficiency across the Intelligence Cycle, HUMINT Targeting Cycle, HVI targeting, Human Factors/Human Terrain/Social Network/Patterns of Life analyses.

  • Proficiency with HUMINT information systems and databases (e.g., HOTR, GCOMS, CRATE, CHROME).

  • Expert application of tradecraft, tools, and methodologies to collect, analyze, fuse, and integrate complex HUMINT-related information.

  • Active TS with SCI eligibility required at time of application.

Desired Skills
  • Recent USSOCOM or SOF community experience.

  • Strong briefing, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills across joint/interagency partners.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex analysis into concise, mission-relevant recommendations.
