As a Security Officer - Night Roving Patrol in Asheville, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and document activity with clear reports. You will interact professionally with employees and visitors, support access control and response needs, and communicate quickly with your team.

- Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, docks, and perimeter routes; note unusual conditions and report them per post orders.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas; verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and direct individuals according to site requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with evacuations, medical response notifications, and incident scene control as directed.
- Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and support shift briefings and handoffs.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
