** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, athletic areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

+ Monitor access points during assigned rounds, check doors and gates for proper closure, and assist with visitor direction and/or adherence to campus entry procedures.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical calls, and/or fire and alarm activations, and notify appropriate campus contacts and/or public responders as needed.

+ Document patrol findings, incidents, and service calls in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate notable conditions to site leadership during shift turnover.

* + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
